Project Details
Premcote 1000R™ Tape is an extremely durable PVC tape for use in tropical climates and also features a fabric reinforced adhesive. These qualities combined make it extremely beneficial for withstanding damage by sharp backfill for medium to large diameter pipes and also made it the perfect choice for buried gas pipelines at the Phu My Plastic Chemical Plant.
Located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Vietnam, the plant was specified the Premcote 1000R Tape System by Vietnam-based agent, Minh Phuc. Premier Coatings Ltd supplied the Premcote 1000R Tape, the Premcote™ Primer and Premier™ Moulding Compound.
Premcote™ Primer was applied followed (when dry) by an overlap of Premcote 1500 Tape, completing the system in accordance with the client’s specification.
