Project Details
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is a pipeline that transports Caspian natural gas from Kipoi, Greece to Melendugno, Italy.
Connecting with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Greek-Turkish border, TAP crosses Northern Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea before coming ashore in Southern Italy to connect to the Italian natural gas network.
The project managers working on the project selected Premier Coatings Ltd products to provide protection for underground pipes. The corrosion prevention system selected consists of Prempaste™, Premtape™ Tropical, Premtape™ LD Mastic and as a final layer of protection – Premier™ PVC Self-Adhesive Tape.
